Cold Formed Shapes | |
| Girts, eave struts, purlins, gable angles and base members will be cold-formed from steel conforming to ASTM specification A-1011, Grade 55, SS or ASTM A-1-11-HSLAS, Grade 55, Class 1. | ||

Wall Base Conditions | |
| Our standard base condition uses this member without a panel notch in the concrete foundation. The Base Angle/Trim will provide support for wall panels and will close off the open ribs at their base. Dimensions of member are so that it can be used together with a panel notch, if desired bythe customer. | ||

Girts | |
| Girts are rolled formed "Z" sections, 8.5 inches or 10 inches deep or they are roll formed "C" sections which are 8.5 inches deep. Each flange of the members has a stiffening lip formed at 50 degrees to the flange on "Z"s and at 90 degrees on "C"s. | ||

Purlins and Eave Struts | |
| The purlins are roll formed "Z" sections which are 8.5 inches or 10 inches deep. Each flange of the "Z" has a stiffening lip formed at 50 degrees to the flange. The eave struts are roll formed "C" sections which are 8.5 inches deep with 3 and a quarter inch wide top and bottom flanges; or brake formed "C" sections which are 10 inches deep with 3 and a quarter inch wide top flange and 4.5 inch wide bottom flange. | ||
